At first, the programming and design of this website was more like an excercise for me, but when the site started to get more and more popular, I became obsessed with it and kept improving it ever since. I'm always amazed to see how people on here improve their skills over time and I'm glad Pxleyes is helping people to get better!

Hi, my name is Megan, I live on a small farm outside of Sydney, Australia, with my husband , daughter and 2 sons. We have a variety of animals, horses, goats, ducks, a dog and of course - Her Royal Highness Princess Crystal , the cat! I have been a member of Pxleyes since March 2007, photoshopping is one of my hobbies, along with endurance riding and photography.

I live in New York City, I love Art, Sci-Fi, B-Movies and building Scale Model Aircraft and Spaceships. I've been a Commercial Artist for more than thirty years having experience in Illustration, Art Direction, Graphic Design and Movie Advertising. Currently I'm involved in the Animatic and Test Commercial Field where the use of computers prompted me to learn Photoshop. A colleague introduced me to Pxleyes and it has been enormously helpful. I love the creativity and skills seen here making this a very stimulating environment and a great place to learn.

My first name is Rob, been a member of PXLeyes since february 2008 (PST still in those days). That's also the moment I started using Photoshop in an artistic way. Doesn't mean I'm new to this all, originally I'm a graphic designer. Always loved to draw and I'm open to any kind of new software I can find, specially if it's graphical. I'm married to Elke, who is also a mod on this site, a.k.a. Lelaina. My native language is Dutch, but I'm living in Germany which means I also speak German. Best part about PXLeyes to me is watching members grow and develop their (artistic) skills and techniques, other members taught me a lot about Photoshop and I'm always willing to help others.

I made an education as kindergarten teacher, studied social science with a major in social psychology for 4.5 years, but wasn't able to finish it. Now I work in a kindergarten with children between 2 and 6 years. I love it to read and spend time with my beloved husband, robvdn, who is also a mod here. I joined Pxleyes in September 2008 and I can't think of a better place to learn and to develop your skills. I learned everything here and felt home from the first day on. Hi! My name is Geo (pronounced like joe) and I've been a Pxleyes member since March 08, 2010. I have lived in the Florida Keys, Florida, USA, pretty much my whole life. I work as a Fire Captain for a fire department here in the Keys. I recently got married to an awesome and beautiful woman who puts up with my passion for photography. I started out with film photography many years ago and as most have made the leap to digital. Since coming to Pxleyes my passion has gone into over drive. I have learned so much since coming here and look forward to learning more.

Hi, my name is Vibeke (Friiskiwi), I live in Nelson, New Zealand. Been here for 8 years, it's a really beautiful part of the world. I have previously lived in Auckland, London, Stockholm and Copenhagen, where I was born. I have been interested in photography for as long as I can remember. I went to a photography school in Stockholm in the early 60th, full time for 2 years. Have worked on and off with photography most of my adult life, including having a school photography business with my husband for 20 years. I joined the 'Old site' late 2008 / early 2009. I initially joined for the Photoshop contests, but the photography side won me over. It has re-awakened my love of photography. I have learned so much here, and hope I can give something back.

Hi. My name is Mark, and I live in beautiful upstate New York in a rural village of about 2,500 and I have been here since it was photoshoptalent.

Although I started there to learn about Photoshop, I naturally gravitated toward the Photography section when it was developed. I have been interested in photography since I was a child running around with a Kodak X-45, but have begun to be seriously interested in it for about the last six years.

In order to support my photography habit I work as a professor in the Humanities Department at our local college. I have been teaching for over 25 years and can't really imagine doing anything else. My wife and I have two sons, and all three of them tolerate my occasional requests to be models for various shots. Since I don't really have the time or funds to travel the world, one of my favorite aspects of this site is its international nature, allowing us all to see views and activities from all over the globe.
