Nice, but you might increase brightness just a touch
(5 years and 3039 days ago)Really nice background composition to this. Well done!
(5 years and 3087 days ago)Bubbles, b ythe looks of it
(5 years and 3098 days ago)They are beautiful but you have blown the highlights on the first bird - see the patch of white that has not detail. As this is the brightest spot in the image, it would be an idea to meter from this area
(5 years and 3099 days ago)... ran out of space... LOL.
(5 years and 3099 days ago)Try: IMAGE > ADJUSTMENT > LEVELS, then from the user interface box, first use the WHITE POINT SAMPLE (eyedropper) and click it in the middle of the brightest white spot on one of the elder geese. Next select the BLACK POINT SAMPLE (eyedropper), and single click in the darkest part of the black neck. You'll notice a dramatic difference to the entire image in that it will look more like a Black and White photo than a under contrasted greyish one. Apart from that, I like the scene, nice capture.
Nice family outing for these geese and goslings.
(5 years and 3099 days ago)The high resolution image seems a bit soft and pixelated. Could this be a result of cropping a much smaller portion of a larger original image? Perhaps your subject filled less than 50 of the frame?
I'd adjust the white balance, as there are no true whites in the scene. It looks like the the contrast was decreased which might explain the gray-scale cast to the image or maybe an auto adjustment which couldn't account for the true white on the heads of the older geese. If you are using Photoshop, try from the Menu: IMAGE > IMAGE ADJUSTMEN
If possible post an image in a SBS to show what the pattern is from.
(5 years and 3099 days ago)Nice abstract,
(5 years and 3099 days ago)If possilbe post an image in a SBS to show what the pattern is from.
I like the cropping/composition on this one
(5 years and 3107 days ago)wonderful in High res
(5 years and 3111 days ago)Interesting photo, in an abstract way, but it's hard to see any snow.
(5 years and 3111 days ago)Awesome!!!
(5 years and 3111 days ago)You poor thing.
(5 years and 3113 days ago)I love horses! I wish we could have gotten to see his/her nose in this pic, it would have made it even better, but I love it, great job!
(5 years and 3118 days ago)Go for some cropping, author, and maybe you'll end up with a very nice pict.
(5 years and 3126 days ago)The blurry leaves at the front spoils the photo.
(5 years and 3126 days ago)CoooooooooLL !!
(5 years and 3126 days ago)Great shot
(5 years and 3126 days ago)Love the texture of the water, it looks like an abstract solid.
(5 years and 3126 days ago)The lensflare over dominates the landscape and becomes the focal point instead of the contest subject.
(5 years and 3134 days ago)We'll have to take your word for it since it looks nothing at all like a rainbow in black and white...
(5 years and 3134 days ago)your angle is unique, but your focus isn't all that good. You focus is on the word liter, and it would be much better if it were on the Pepsi logo
(5 years and 3279 days ago)Lovely, just wish you hadn't cropped the babies nose off.
(5 years and 3279 days ago)ummmm... Pepsi?
(5 years and 3279 days ago)Not a bad idea but I think the image lacks depth. Just a suggesting, but why not try shooting it closer, with more of an angle and see if you cannot focus more on the black park of the record. GL!
(5 years and 3391 days ago)I really like this picture but my eye is drawn to the colors more than to the black.
(5 years and 3392 days ago)Nicely caught! I like the rainbow sheen that this record has. The only things that bother me a teeny bit (because the more I like a picture, the more critical I get of it XD) are that; one, I think the white background might be a bit nicer if it had no texture at all (it's distracting me from the lovely record lines); and two, perhaps centering the record on the corner of the frame might do something different? It's not even really detracting from the piece at all- I'm just wondering what it would look like. XD
(5 years and 3393 days ago)great idea to start the competition~
(5 years and 3393 days ago)Star Wars soundtrack?
(5 years and 3393 days ago)I think the White Balance might be a bit off - it seems to have a blue tinge to all the white areas
(5 years and 3413 days ago)So do I .. but sometime not all of them come back :P lol
(5 years and 3413 days ago)love it
(5 years and 3417 days ago)Great shot..
(5 years and 3417 days ago)very cool shot...and gorgeous eye...is the other the same...LOL...
(5 years and 3419 days ago)What a lovely cat and a good shot too!
(5 years and 3420 days ago)Nice! You might want to try taking one with a higher Depth of Field next time just to compare, but this one works well. Good luck!
(5 years and 3421 days ago)Cute cat... might brighten it just a touch
(5 years and 3421 days ago)wonderful
(5 years and 3423 days ago)DOF - depth of field ib, see how the left side is defocused? It draws you into the subject that is in focus, in this case the author's portrait, and overall gives more depth to the photo.

(5 years and 3423 days ago)Still one of the better entries. GL!
beautiful shot
(5 years and 3423 days ago)well done
(5 years and 3424 days ago)Whats DOF, good shot
(5 years and 3424 days ago)Nice DOF in this shot. GL author!
