I love the creativity, but i do agree with CMYK's comment. It's still a nice image. (Next time try using a gradient overlayed onto the cuts in the torso to give the impression of depth instead of just a solid black colour.) But you're still getting high marks from me!

Just a suggestion, you could tray to flip horizontal the hand, maybe it will be a better posture. In anyway good work and good luck.

@DML: Thanks, I tried that...the hand hid too much of the face, and the finger didn't follow the angle of the nose.

well... you could flip the whole image. it would help. its a really funny idea i would hate for it to be messed up. i wonder how much gold he has in that cave...

I like this one, well done on the effect of the hand coming out of the ground. The background with the trees doesnt fit imo though, given how dry and baron the foreground is.
