Excellent presentation. The apple gives the appearance of being a fresh, healthy product. There is also great space, particularly in the upper right corner to give a simple message.

I am not an apple farmer but if I was I would want my apples to look this way. Water, is life giving, as is the apple and you have married the two together in a beautiful way. The dof could be sharper and did you use a tripod? I do love the light source shining from above. I can hear the crunch. The fact that you chose a nice black background further punctuates the main focal point. Love the crop for it is out of the box thinking and it works.
Thank you very much for your comment! I want to say yes I did use a tripod but I think I actually didn't 
(I should have) In the end I ended up putting a black vignette around the photo to get it a bit darker.
It is still a very lovely presentation.

Such an unusual photo to take this,subject matter is one that most people would not have noticed let alone take a photo of,could just imagine people seeing you take this would question your sanity lol.
