Beautiful color! Just my opinion, but the background seems to take away from this tree. Maybe a more shallow DOF would've been better.

Beautiful colors and clarity, but to me, the green valley takes the focus away from the tree.

Even though there's a lot of other trees, they seem to border more than distract from the lone tree. Somehow, the mountains seem to make it feel more lonely. Nicely done!

It's a lovely photograph, certainly on theme, but I do feel that for this contest more of the tree would have been better.

Somber and very beautiful, but the memorial stones,and the thick hedgerow of trees on the right, seem to be taking away from the tree.
