Note I just realized this was a bit too dark so I re-shot the image (5 years and 2560 days ago)

NP Author...I know you probably used extension tubes to shoot this, which require you to get VERY close to the subject, not allowing much light between the lens and subject, if you want to know how to light this particular type situation, drop me a PM and I can give you some better tips.
