The name is for a recipe - look up eggs and soldiers on Google. It stands for a boiled egg and the soldiers are the toast fingers.

Love the plate and the light, not to sure about the salt and pepper mills, the eye keeps going to them.wonder if they would have been better on the right.

I thought about that friiskiwi but I have been experimenting with empty space. I can see your point , maybe if I played around with DOF and had the salt and pepper shakers OOF.

this is cool...we use to do this when we hatched ducks for a science project years ago with my boys....you could see the growing baby duck inside. Great photo!
