have we seen this before?

You may have seen one like it, I get these things all the time since my kids like them. I set this up and shot it last night. I used a lightbox, black velvet cloth background, and a small flash light for the back lighting.

ok, what are they for exactly?

They are wax bottles full of flavored juices. You bite the end off..drink the liquid and then can chew on the wax...it's a type of "candy" or treat. Been around since before I was a kid (which is quite a while - LOL).

I remember those. Always liked the juice, but never really liked chewing on the wax. Nice colors

Must say its a good work of wax....Is only the guy made up of was or the whole instrument as well?

The man was made of wax, the telephone exchange was the actual one used there by the British Army during the war
