A Work in Progress: Apoliptical day

Ok let's start
first of all i open a image of mine

second I duplicated layer 1 and desaturated with Hue/Saturation

step 3 of 10

next step was to create a brush from my photo

step 4 of 10

...and name it "sky" :)

with my new brush I start to create the sky...doge and burn+brightness and contrast +eraser tool involve in this step and I obtain the image below

the rest part was easy :) ...ruins added

now for the color of the sky I crate a new layer (at the end I merge with "sky" layer) and with a very soft brush I start to paint with 3 or 4 color set blending mode to "color and low opacity to 45...like I sad I merge them with "sky" layer ...image below

...light and shadow+brightness and contrast

step 10 of 10

and in the end I create a "ray of light" layer (render->clouds,blur->radial blur method zoom, best, 100) inverted and set blend mode normal
that's was all
I DIDN'T STEAL ,I CREATE :)
