Lighting looks a little odd around the hair, horizon and trees. Extreme high contrast in processing? Quite effective mood for a book cover.

I like it but exactly how do you make a deeper DOF? I try to do different ones and i can't figure it out.

I like the shallow dof on this one too - although I do find the top OOF ares a bit distracting - I'd probably crop off the first blue section, even right down to just above the blue dot on the handle - just my opinion of course
