This is really terrific (Obi Wan) hehehe, though I think if you desaturate the figure a bit it would send it more into the realm of night. Soft Desat Brush would do the trick. In HI RES, the hand/Face Colors give away day light. It's a terrific job no matter what. Just a bit of a suggestion. IMHO. GOOD LUCK!
Hi! Thanks for the suggestion but i'm quite pleased with the result.
congrats .. great job .. love all the hard work and improvements you did along the way
Thanks everyone for your votes and comments!

Not bad, but imo perhaps a bit too dark. There's a lightsource but no light from that on the Gatekeeper. Try to add some, the Gatekeeper will pop out more and the whole image may become more mystic/magic. Good luck!
Thanks for the feedback!
Made changes, hope now its better
Good adjustment imo . Good luck!

Might be good to remove the white lines around the petal selections.

Light on house & balloons is from upper right. Shadow should be cast accordingly. Otherwise this looks good.
Is it o.k now?
Better, but the shadow is smaller than the house...and don't you think the balloons would have shadows too?
Is it better now? (i have difficulties with shadows :s )
Thanks for your help!
Much better. Good luck, author!
Author when I'm having trouble with how to do a shadow I Google image search for pics which might have examples of real shadows in a similar scenario/landscape/light setting, in this case maybe a tree with a large canopy, something like this perhaps
Thanks for the tip!
The little girl is a neat touch ! shadows are hard to get right
well done : )
well put together

Dang, the most frightening Popeye yet!
I would love to see how you manipulated that image. It's truly awesome!!!
Its mostly liquify and coloring
I saw already. I started watching tutorials for those filters. To be honest , I used liquify only for making tattoos and not all of them...
It's cool that there are many ways to use this filter!
Oh so many..
It's a bit too dark and the torso should be defined... otherwise well done.
I gave that area another try, hope now it looks better
It's a pity that the mouth has maintained its liquify look.... I'd say it's the only thing that's stopping it from being a great entry.
Thanks for the feedback, unfortunately i dont have the time to improve it anymore
this is terrific (his winky eye is missing) but I don't think that detracts in any shape or form... it has a great portrait angle and would look GREAT FRAMED!!! good luck author
Thank you Drivenslush for your kind words!!
