This is obviously done by putting one mirror in front of another, and it seems to me that the place, where the shot was taken, isn't very large.. Just thoughts =) Looking forward to know what it is! Reply »
These are my initial thoughts as well because of the straight-lined uniformity in reduction in size of the "lights" with the added innovation of mirrors on the side and thus we see the duplication in the faint mirrored lights behind the real lights. Just guessing of course. Reply »
Yes it's almost that... A tunnel of neon and black mirrors. At every horizontal line you see above there's a sliding black mirror. Every 5 minutes the first is sliding so you can see the reflections on the one behin ... and so on. Here the mirror is at the 6th line. Reply »
WOW, GL
Surely would like to know how you realized this amazing shot....?? Reply »

author says: Thanks ... It's a "photomerge" of 23 different shot. When I shot the roof I turned mysef ^_^ (I'm not able to make a bridge with my back :p )
Well... this is a nice one, obvious great effort. can I ask how much time you spent on it?!!
I'll fav and high mark it but just for the record I think that horizontal panorama's are more comfortable to the eyes than the vertical one's. Reply »

author says: Thanks for your comment. I agree with the fact that horizontal panoramas are more aesthétic for the eyes ... But I like trying to do things differents ways ... About the time ... The shooting took me just 2 or 3 minutes, but the photomerge calculating took me more than 30 minutes (I don't have a mega boosted computer).
That is a really cool looking building, but I can't help but wonder why places think their Opera houses need to be so avante garde. It's not like opera is thought of as cutting edge. Modern Art, maybe. But opera? *shrug* Reply »
Excellent photo and angle of the shot. I thought it a Photoshop manipulation, and thought, "What the ???" and then saw it was for the Photography contest...Very well done! Reply »
Unique! Well done author. And, kyri, you can't be more right. One would expect opera houses to look old fashioned. Since opera is a form of art from the past, then why should it go hand in hand with modernity? Reply »
That's why I say to a degree, it's garbage. What else can you do with it? It's just something you commonly throw away. Perhaps a shot of sweeping it into a dustpan would have sealed the garbage classification. But it's still on theme. Reply »
Generally not a fan of the 'cute' entries, I feel people end up voting them high because of the cute factor rather than the actual photo. In this case however I think it is composed very well, taken very well and it tells a story. GL Author, great shot. Reply »
I like this photo very much....good composition, interesting movement....and first of all, what a face!...Happy New Year author and good luck to you! Reply »
Aerie as it befits it. Well done Reply »
