Cut out a few of the ice cubes and desaturated them.

Selected a few different fruits. Apple in this example. Reshaped and warped to make it close to the same size as the cube. Placed over and adjusted blend mode (each was different to get the desired look: colour, pin light or screen). Also played with the intensity of the colour and brightness of the cube.
For the apple I also added additional layers to bring our some of the brown highlights at the top of the apple and the stalk.

Followed similar steps for the other cubes, using cherries and oranges. When they looked right, I also drew some string at the top to make it look lije they were hanging from the tree. Then selected a green background, applied a blur, and voila!
