she better watch out that no one eats that dress!!
And what a beautiful hat the woman is wearing on your picture, Love the roses too that you placed on it., nothing I would wear but its very artistic and it looks very good on her!
Im not so sure if I would have used fruit for the dress, although it IS part of the flora ofcourse, the reason is because they are round fruits and flowers are more flat especially if you only use leafs and petals so to create a dress from fruit isnt the first thought I would have had. Reply »

very handsome man who is going to beat your bottom LOL (pay attention to the hair where the erase tool is very obvious, using Warp, smudge to rid the perfection of the cuts.. even an a soft blur could fix it (but do all edges to equalize the edge image) but of course, just IMHO.. good luck very humorous chop (fiddling with the HUE of the hair might help as well, but again.. IMHO

almost winter - created by friiskiwi
(2 years and 340 days ago)
Here's the things that I noticed - there are some masking artifacts along the top of the image, particularly noticable in the left and right corners. The ridge of the mountains need to be adjusted, there is a strange effect along the whole length. At the bottom you need to bring your snow just a little further. If you correct these small errors, then you will have yourself quite a good picture. Reply »

A very nice image, I hope that after the contest is finished you consider writing a detailed tutorial Reply »

I am just wondering why there is no snow in the valley?? Great effect, good luck! Reply »

I would love this pic if the green was also covered. I realize that altitude makes a difference, but the snow goes clear to the base of the mountain to the green, where the deciduous trees are in full foliage. There seems be no snow on the near hill to the right. All that being said, the left lower quarter looks great...just wish the effects extended out further. Reply »

Year 1 - created by friiskiwi
only source image used. (159 days ago)
Nice work. Also suffers from the "two heads" problem, and the green on the building is too yellow...brings the background forward...suggest muting that and the red on the roof to help create depth. Color wise, backgrounds should recede. Still, it's mostly a very good repair job except for not reducing the excessive graininess of the original image. GL author.

This really is a pretty good job all in all. I do like the choice of colors but the color is a little faded or washed out IMO. A couple of things you might want to try is,... duplicating the layer. Set the new copy's layer blend to overlay or multiply. Adjust the opacity accordingly. Then add an adjustment or fill layer for selective color, play around with the sliders for each color.
I offer this as a suggestion only author, as it is your work and is the way you like. Nice vote from me, good luck. Reply »

Thanks for the comments and suggestions, will work on them if I find the time. I kept the colours muted on purpose, to give it the hand coloured look rather than a colour photo. the ground has got a very light colour, but concrete tends to be pretty grey. Reply »

Thanks, I always like working on my own images. Makes it harder sometimes, but at least I don't have them thrown out due to lacking source info. Reply »

Love what you've done here, nitpick... you might want to eliminate the drop shadow on the arm of the "woman" being eaten, it is casting on to the back brick wall and the chair a table away.
Good job and good luck

I don't know if you have puppet warp, but you could place that over the same woman picture and bend just her leg into the girls mouth LOL (don't knock yourself out if you don't have puppet warp, to do the same thing with a lower PS program, you'd have to snip the leg off and reposition with a LOT of blending, LOL Puppet warp lets you do it instantly
) good luck and nice concept Thanks, I do have puppet warp, check the lady on top of the chair (top right) and compare with the original photo. Reply »
