Clever idea! still needs a little work tho you may want to consider maken the flamingos head a little smaller & bring it down closer to the little finger

Perhaps a tight shadow around where the hand meets the cane. Good job, otherwise!

EDIT:

Okay, I took everything you guys said into account, and here's what I did; I moved the cane over to the right a little bit, using the clone and healing tool to fix up the whiteness that it left behind, and I added a subtle shadow underneath the man's hand where it touches the cane.

I think you need to work on the definition of the face in the water.. I wasn't clear what it was... there is no Step by step so I can't help to see what methods you used.. but good luck.. others who know how to manipulate water better then me will surely be along to help.. good luck.. it's a very good IDEA, just needs a little more definiton to be read properly

I like the idea but the masking on the boat isnt great and you have enlarged it too much so it looks pixelated - it just doesnt blend with the rest of the image
