Creepy Bird by ~archistock stood out to me on one of my browses through the stock gallery - crisp and clear and just screaming out to be used in a dark or surreal piece of work.

Yes, it's a real bird. Image was shot a few months ago at the San Francisco Zoo. It was in a walk in netted enclosure so no bars between me and the bird allowing for a clear shot. The bird enclosure is only a few feet away from where the unfortunate Tiger mauling took place.
