the bum area looks too full, it does not match the bony upper frame, otherwise good job!
(212 days ago)there is a watermark on the branch that you should remove, before the mods remove your entry.
(283 days ago)i like the concept. maybe darken the background a bit, to draw attention to the photograph frames?
(294 days ago)also, there are some sort of mask on top of the animals, is a little distracting.
congrats, roon
(307 days ago)congrats on first to you as well
(307 days ago)congrats on first to you as well
(307 days ago)very nice! i really like this, anything well done with a heart on it makes me smile!
(2 years and 167 days ago)well, i'll give it a go... i don't think the object was to make a play of words and image. it is a very straightforward goal to pretty much give an older person a "photoshop cosmetic surgery", to recreate how the person would have looked younger, not as a baby. i believe that was another contest. besides that, i don't think the person on your original image had a beard and grey hair as a baby, maybe if the baby looked like the man as an infant people would not have a problem with the entry. hope this clarifies it, at least from my perspective.
(2 years and 190 days ago)i happen to think is wrong in so many levels an off theme. so many good entries have been removed before on other contests by being a bit off theme...i am on the fence on this one
(2 years and 190 days ago)i like it this image, i agree about flying dreams...did you know that flying dreams are actually about sexual desire?
(2 years and 242 days ago)are those fishsticks? clever!
(2 years and 254 days ago)it seems you placed the person behind the glass, yet the window opening is on the side closer to the viewer... love the idea!
(2 years and 254 days ago)there goes my idea, good thing is only a scketch... best wishes!
(2 years and 256 days ago)sat on a tuffet.... she reminds me of my niece!
(2 years and 260 days ago)how about the hand with heart only? i agree with ponti55 that the message is a bit harsh.
(2 years and 260 days ago)great take on lust!
(2 years and 260 days ago)hmmmm, i am at a loss... there are multiple ways to come up with a color screen, and to me is the result that counts when it comes to judging. don't get me wrong, i am a sucker for process, that is how i learn and enjoy creating, but that is for myself. when it comes to sbs, i think it looks more like a story board for an animation, a completely different medium. to me, if you have to give an extensive explanation, or an explanation at all, of your work, then the message is not coming out right. " a picture is worth more than a thousand words" is key.
(2 years and 266 days ago)nice idea. i was just wondering about the japanese sculpture...was this taken at morikami in boca?
(2 years and 292 days ago)this is a great idea. to make it believable the glass must have realistic cuts and seams. for example, on the sunrays, you would not be able to cut the galss and solder it together like that because 1(the glass would break and 2) the lead would not be able to support it. i suggest doing some research on sites for stained glass tutorials and taking a look at the process and craftmanship.
(2 years and 299 days ago)too funny! i am not so sure about the feet being the same, since nobody really is symetrical. other than that, one of my favorites in this contest. best wishes!
