would make for a higher impact if you got a bit closer to the ground when shooting for this IMO...get low and shoot a straight horizon and you'll be more pleased with the results I'm sure.

actually, appears to be color noise and not grain. probably caused by high ISO trying to capture the image in lower light. with some cameras it cannot be helped. Author, nice fit to the theme and well balanced composition
