It is difficult to see the main focal point. Did you know that the natural pathway of the eye is to gravitate to the brightest pop on the "canvas". Did you mean for eyes to go tot he doorway? In the old days, photographers used to turn their photographs upside down to study where the point was to where the eye gravitated to on their photographs...then they knew what the focal point was. With your image the eye goes directly to the bright door (and out). You are very lucky to have been invited into this Berber home which does look very rustic.
(5 years and 278 days ago)You do have some clipping (block up) at the lower right of this shot (viewer's right). Using the shadow/highlight slider could bring out some detail perhaps. A tighter crop eliminating the line at the right would strengthen this shot. I love the warm feel in hues of browns and oranges gives the viewer an engaging feel.
(5 years and 278 days ago)Yes, the rule of thirds sings loud and clear however the image is soft especially the main focal point situated in the grid lines, which is being pierced by the white masks. However, it is an interesting post full of warm hues.
(5 years and 279 days ago)OUCH OUCH OUCH MY NECK....it's upside down, can't see it properly.
(5 years and 280 days ago)ummmmm... it's upside down
(5 years and 280 days ago)Hmmm you must live in the antipodies, the photo should be good I guess... It looks roman indeed, so are you Australian?
(5 years and 281 days ago)I love the warm glow from the windows.
(5 years and 284 days ago)Nice, two for the price of one!
(5 years and 284 days ago)I wonder if a different, tighter crop would highlight the bridge a bit more? I like the viewpoint from which you shot this, it is vast.
(5 years and 284 days ago)very nice
(5 years and 2667 days ago)What a sharp photo but little bit centered
(5 years and 2668 days ago)Nice shot
Can you please provide the shot detail (exif data) ? what lens do you have ? Thanks.
The bird looks pensive... Nice catch!
(5 years and 2668 days ago)I'll take the third from the left
(5 years and 2775 days ago)What beautiful patterning on it. Here in the USA, they are generally a solid, dark purple, and somewhat boring to look at.
(5 years and 2776 days ago)Very nice composition, the positioning at an angle really helps the visual movement.
Nice set up, but the lighting and white balance could be improved. Try a white reflector (white paper) in front and set the camera to tungsten, if you are going to re-shoot.
(5 years and 2842 days ago)cute!
(5 years and 2903 days ago)Gorgeous !
(5 years and 2903 days ago)Absolutely adorable!
(5 years and 2904 days ago)Wow! I would really hate to be the one to remove this ornament! LOL Great shot!
(5 years and 2904 days ago)lol!!!
(5 years and 2904 days ago)Lovely, I would personally crop some of the foreground.
(5 years and 2905 days ago)Nice shot but I think the DOF is too strong. in the high res there's hardly a single line in focus. Having a lower DOF would make this a better entry IMHO.
(5 years and 2907 days ago)Isn't that a sugar glider???
(5 years and 2947 days ago)is that a chinchilla?
(5 years and 2947 days ago)Congrats !
(5 years and 2950 days ago)Congratulations, on 3rd, a beautiful shot.
