(5 years and 3600 days ago)The ocean ripple idea is very creative. I think keeping the upper edges of the fingers smoother would look more realistic. The 'solar flare' thing happening now runs counter to the image's emphasis on the pull of gravity.

(5 years and 3600 days ago)wonderful effect..just a little suggestion.. take it or leave it.. maybe keep SOME of the face real.. like you did with the hair so we can see the transition form normal to ripple to melt.. it would add to the wonderful effect you got going (Oh the shadowed melt chunk off the left shoulder is amazing!!).. just an idea... good luck
