great idea lol love it. i think the shadow on the guy on the erm, bottom part would look better if it was cast on the floor like it was raising up off the floor, like it is where his hands are. but i like it either way

love the idea and the feel of ur image, agree with what greymval said about the blending and edges and also the umbrela reflection in the water is wrong u cant do mirror reflections by simply flipping the image there quite hard to do right but with water u have the advantage of doing a more distorted and vague reflection good luck

to me the contest meens there are myths and folklores that there are yet to be discovered creatures in the seas. it doesnt say anything about using documented myths about specific creatures. so id say ur entry is fine
