actually dont try and clone it, instead use the burn tool at about 5% and burn it until it matches the tone of the rest of the metal you are blending to. the only thing you should clone is other bits of her dress where you get the seams in the metal, add that too the hand and blend it WELL (yes, not sloppy... whoodathunkit) so that it appears as if it actually belongs to the statue... it would atleast then look like its made of metal instead of stone. its a minor touch up that doesnt really need it, but i thought i would get all nitty gritty based on that last comment posted by jawshoewhah...

well... not a real phobia, or the correct word for it anyway, not sure if there is a name for it, but it deffinately wouldnt be FAUCETPHOBIA. FAUCETPHOBIA would refer to the extreme fear or dislike of a faucet, not what comes out of it. the fear of something evil coming out of a faucet would be completely different.

you should take his advice for the shadow as welll.... its an ambient shadow, but nevertheless it would be cast on the ground by the little dog, and unseen from this angle, so you should remove it all together.

agreed with barnacle.. also, slightly feather the images, and add a blur, or more blur filter to the boaters so that the resolution matches with the rest of the image. a crispy high res on a dull low res, or not as crisp image stands out and doesnt blend well... it makes it looks as if you just placed them, and thats exactly what you did. fix that and i think it would be much improved (at least in the high-resolution version)

i just want to make the point that making an overlay of a single color will not fix the issue, it will just change the hue of everything here. that isnt a great suggestion. instead match the blue on top with the blue on the bottom, and get rid of the lightning. take that layer, and make some minor levels adjustments, and open hue and saturation on it, select only the blue channel in the hue and saturation and lighten it up a bit and adjust the hue so thats its more of a cyan like you have on the bottom.

im not even going to mention what that looks like... lets just say i dont 'trust' this 'monster' haha

keep the vibrance up but just lower the saturation, this way the color stays rich with the lack of brightness, or saturation. its complicated to explain but thats what its for. if you lower both, its pointless. you might as well just lower the saturation by its self.

cute... might want to fix the shadow and make the edge of it not so soft... also, right click on the fx button on that layer and select 'create layer(s)' and then free transform the new shadow, and warp it so that it bends with the face. there are parts where the shadow wouldnt be visible, and had you did this, it would take it to another level of realness. GL

EDIT: realistically had there really been a pin in the forehead, then there wouldnt be any blood dripping (in most cases) until the pin or thumb tack is removed... if its in the head holding the paper up, then there really isnt any need for the blood at all anyway. also, try using a handwritten typeface or if you have a tablet, write it yourself.

i hate to be criticle being that i dont draw, or can draw, but there should have been a light refraction where the tube goes in.. the hose wouldnt line up as it goes into the top and then viewded from the side... try doing this with a straw and see what im talking about.

when its 1 thing that is the size difference it appears as if that one thing is what size has changed... the theme is to make something big, not small, like what youve done with your boat.
