You clearly expended a lot of effort to create a VERY cool central collage. (Having every image be overlapped a bit by another pic would add cohesion IMO.)

I don't get the inclusion of the PXLeyes threesome on the right, but then when I see your preview of what your entry looks like on multiple devices, I realize (assuming your depictions are accurate) that only those of us accessing PXLeyes from a PC would even know that there is a trio of PXLeyes characters—but who cares? I would delete the blue trio and let people figure out on their own that the collage spells PXL.

I think we, participants in some of the contests, should appreciate work from members who will to participate in the contests every week. WE NEED ENTRIES, even if they are Islands, CBR, (whatever) I do not mind if you did an island. It is a beautiful work!, As a matter of fact, you took the time to think, and come out with something you wanted to do. The reason I am saying this is that the contests say "Download the photo on the left and manipulate it any way you want" You did so....... Good luck!

I like the details you added at the bottom of the island but the light on the bottom back of the umbrella is a littile distracting. Nice blend and mood. Good luck!

The standard of work is not the only factor in voting, originality is very important to many. I think Bob's comment alludes to the fact that floating islands aren't very original.

Not very orange oranges. Is it the HDR or the oranges themselves? Not everywhere in the world has those genetically altered orange oranges that we get here at home.

I think the HDR works well here, it brings out the texture on the skin of the fruit, otherwise it would just be another close up of fruit.

The HDR has been overdone, IMO. The natural colours are lost.

Use linseed oil to thin your oil paints. There are other media to use, just Google "thinning oil colors" or something like that.

really nice, i love the hdr effect.

It looks over-processed. The values are blown out, with the lights pushed to almost glowing white. HDR should display a wide dynamic range of luminance from dark to light, not just push the extremes at both ends.

The tip of the pencil is too sharp, and the outside painted edge where it is sharpened is too angular - it needs to be more rounded. Also, the bright highlight on the side is out of place and inconsistent with the rest of the image. Otherwise, this is a very good render!
