I used to live in Toronto, wonderful shot, thanks for bringing back the memory to that wonderful time I had there.
(5 years and 2828 days ago)Well then this is a great opportunity for a reshoot! I love going back and redoing my old pictures now that I have better equipment and knowledge, to go back and correct the "mistakes" that you didn't know how to change is really cool. Actually now that I think about it, that would make a sweet contest!
(5 years and 2828 days ago)Very nice, I especially like the contrast of the motion blur of the guy's face to sharp definition of his body. One suggestion though, I think this could be greatly improved if done in HDR so that the windows of the tower aren't blown out.
(5 years and 2828 days ago)Love this shot, great DOF and tack sharp. I didn't know what lind of snake that was before Kyricom mentioned that it was a harmless Garter snake so you can be sure that I wouldn't have taken the risk! Gutsy for sure.
(5 years and 2830 days ago)Nice shot!
(5 years and 2833 days ago)Agree here w/ kyricom...although harmless, if you had no idea how to identify the snake, it's gutsy enough for me...I know people who would pass out from fear just being near a snake regardless of type. (Not me of course...we have a 5 foot Python named "Monty"!)
(5 years and 2834 days ago)*snicker* That's a Garter Snake... they couldn't hurt you if they wanted to. But, if you were unaware of that and overcame your fear to get the shot... it was "gutsy." Congratulations for your bravery! (it's a nice shot, too)
(5 years and 2834 days ago)A very nice shot, and gutsy for sure!
(5 years and 2834 days ago)Amazing man !!!
(5 years and 2835 days ago)Great shot
(5 years and 2836 days ago)Nice shot of the stars... definitely at night
(5 years and 2837 days ago)VERY cool... bummer about the wire
(5 years and 2839 days ago)absolutely beautiful!!!
(5 years and 2840 days ago)Great shot, how long was the exposure for this shot, I guess they are multiple lightning strikes. The purple colour is fantastic.
(5 years and 2842 days ago)Wow...what a lucky capture, never quite saw one go in a circle before...nice
(5 years and 2843 days ago)WOW!! JUST WOW, Author!!
(5 years and 2846 days ago)The colors between them (green & brown) are just perfect to get my attention!
A simple color palette, I would like to paint it if you dont mind. XD
Great shot, what focal length was it shot at. Your Exit data will tell you.
(5 years and 2849 days ago)And possibly get called for stalling, giving your opponent a referees penalty point

(5 years and 2872 days ago)This is a good site for info.
Good start.. keep it up.
ahhh ok, that would account for it being a bit soft. Still a great capture though. You also have a bit of motion blur on the drop itself, what was the power setting on your flash?
(5 years and 2872 days ago)Nice photo
(5 years and 2872 days ago)Are you using a dedicated macro lens or are you cropping down?
(5 years and 2873 days ago)Ha ha - looks like he's poking out his tongue too :P
(5 years and 2873 days ago)Fabulous!
(5 years and 2873 days ago)high res is very nice. Great focus
(5 years and 2873 days ago)It is a nice photo, but to use it as and example of calmness in Nature, I would have prefer ed a flower without blemishes.
(5 years and 2874 days ago)If he came first is he struggling? Guess it doesn't matter, he's struggling to keep his tongue in his mouth
(5 years and 2874 days ago)Congrats
(5 years and 2874 days ago)Lovely detail, just a little too dark IMO
(5 years and 2875 days ago)amazing
(5 years and 2876 days ago)Very great shot! Love that you caught the lashes even though it is so close to the eye itself.
(5 years and 2877 days ago)Oh my gosh! this is incredible! well done!!
(5 years and 2877 days ago)I love how close up this is
(5 years and 2877 days ago)This is what we call "close"
(5 years and 2878 days ago)Much better, you now have an interesting photograph.
(5 years and 2879 days ago)very impressive!
(5 years and 2879 days ago)If you lighten this, a lot, so the background is virtually white and we can see the details in roof, and then chop the image in half, you will have a far more interesting photograph, IMO.
(5 years and 2879 days ago)The front figure is really beautiful, but the ones in the background is just a little too light and not soft enough to really fade into the background.
(5 years and 2879 days ago)wow!
(5 years and 2880 days ago)This is an amazing close-up
