Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, at 208 ft., is the tallest lighthouse in the United States. In 1999, due to extensive shore erosion, the lighthouse was moved 2870 ft. inland to protect it from being washed away at sea.

Wonderful place

This is a very special place, I take so many photos but I could stay there for hours and never find that the photo was good enough for what my eyes were seeing. I would like to do better and better... well! As you can see a man over the rocks you can imagine the size of the waves.
