I have a thing for Alice in Wonderland so to me this is quite enjoyable. I hate offering critiques because the artist often has a vision and sometimes what the viewer wants isn't what the artist had in mind, however there may be something you could do with the background. Just a suggestion. Otherwise well-done and good-luck.

You are very correct TwilightMuse, I was thinking of a lot of backgrounds, but in the end I went with Insanity straight jacket, and the plain white background reminded me of One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

It's "charming" but try to remove the white edges & soften others.

the white was caused by craqualure texture ..I tried to adjust that a bit but perhaps u like the original SBS12 better? ...since I am still learning here I would appreciate the feedback..I love all the feedback

Author you need to check the masking, also your native looks like he could be grounded better. Some tweaking will make a difference.

I like the whole atmosphere of this image and your own source picture really fits great with the background. but it looks like you cut part of his chest, In step 6 it still looks intact to me but in your final step it doesnt. then when I looked closer I noticed the cutout of the man is kinda wobly and not smooth.. Perhaps you should try use pentool to cut it out.
