I think the hand has to be BEHIND the guy, (It looks like his arm is broken 
... great humor (be careful around the chin (its a bit washed out and the background is shining through (you should be able to just duplicate the young man's layer and that should fill in the space that got erased (about two or three times)

I scaled the girl to the original image to her size right. But maybe she could do with making a bit small??

u forgot to remove the area between the girl and the scooter from your source image..and i also think that u should add some contrast to the original contest image to get a more realistic blend between sources..
