Great job! Very sweet. One thought however...if you use a brush with a short fade setting, it'll taper your ends of the whiskers. It might give a slightly more realistic look, but if you're just going with an illustrated look...then you've nailed it. Nice job!

Cute The only thing that distract my eye, is that there is to obvious cloning on the wall that shows previous cat contour , and there is still some fur as well, can be seen in high rez.

Dislike: Ear contour on wall. Shadowless wiskers.
Suggestion: Still time, changes can be implemented. Match hand fur with that on leg.

Who says it's sunlight? Aren't there bright lights at night that reflect off surfaces...like the driver's glasses??

It a unique idea, but just one nit pick. I suggest reducing the brightness on the Alien's head. If he's in the back of the taxi cab at night, you are not going to be able to see highlights that well and just give the head a slight blur, just to better blend with the shirt of the guy who you put the head on. And just a suggestion, why not add another alien to the back seat, different species or a slightly different variance of the other.

texture is a bit to prominent. perhaps lower the opacity.
also, where the mouth has been taken away, it looks like she's got a bulge under her skin. perhaps you could do something to lessen the shadowing that gives it that appearance.

It's really a nice work, bu I agree with Jade about the texture. I also have to choose a several kinds of texture and change their colors to achieve the best results...

I like it, nice job on the helmet visor.

made me smile i like it. not sure about the guy standing in the distance tho with him being an exact copy of the the guy in the foreground, maybe flip him horizontally or move an arm or something. might look good still without him.
edit ..actualy i like how it looks like there marching out one by one might not look as good without him

The lighting is wonky. The ship is lit from the upper back, while the helmet shows an upper front light source, and the sponge man under the helmet shows no real light source at all on his shoulders... The shadow of the spaceship should be more to the right, and the base of the ship needs to show highlights more than reflections, particularly the LH side.
The duplication of the sponge spacemen is also too obvious, with the poses too similar, with the lighting problems at the base of the ship emphasized by the "cookie cutter" spongeman placement.

Mossy: Look at the source pic of the rocket. Then look at the shadow on the hatch. This gives you the angle of the sun. If anything, the ship's shadow could be rotated a bit more clockwise. If you compare the sponge guys to the original you'll find quite a bit of highlights on the lit side, and corresponding shadows on the other. Sponges don't exactly reflect a lot of light, know what I mean?
As for the highlights on the visors, they may not be exactly correct, but they look way cool.

i think you should get rid of the lighting on the helmet of the guy getting out... hes in the shade...
