the virtual lady you added to this piece should be moved downstage so her head is inside the frame (she has no shadow so I figure she's part of the drawing) if you look where her head is, it would have to be drawn all the way up the promenade to match the perspective..) the shadow girls are just brilliant...good luck (the girl is a very nice add on.. but imagine how stretched her head would look if you were viewing from the side.. it would be a long stretched head to be viewable from the front

(really fantastic and very well thought out)

EDIT: PERFECT (the girl looks grrrrrEEAAAATTTTTT!.. now her head is in the right realm and you can really see her now

The tongue twister is 'We surely shall see the sun shine again'.

I have gone for a bit of a different style to most of the others here, and not taken such a literal interpretation of the words. I have tried to show that despite the somewhat blue sky, the death of a loved one can plunge our world into darkness. The 'surely see the sun shine again' is symbolised by the feint ray of light shining on the girl, and the single bloom on a seemingly dead tree.

I hope that makes sense and that you like the image, comments appreciated. (5 years and 3361 days ago)

OK, I haven't prepared a SBS, but the techniques I used are easy to explain, so:
1. duplicated the layer, tweaked brightness and contrast, and left the windows only. Then radial zoom blur at the top right corner of the image, and I got the rays effect by putting the layer to Linear Dodge (Add).
2. Tweaked Brightness, contrast a bit, did a little burning and dodging at some places etc.
3. Just some final touches like sharpening and colour filter.
And done! Not very hard to do if you have the idea, but nice, you must admit. =) (5 years and 3424 days ago)
