the first girl (the one with short sleeves) has little nubs on her back in the high res.. easy peasy fix (just a tiny nit pic, overall excellent work!!!) good luck

author says:

Not sure what you mean by "nubs" but if they are those bumps in her shirt then they are supposed to be there. You can see them in the source image.

(5 years and 2536 days ago)

well they distract my eye when I go into high res, they are all I look at LOL, they really look like left over mask bits, but it's your chop, as before, good job and good luck

Really funny, and good work warping the statue's arms, but there are a lot of blurry edges, and the man's head is transparent...you can see the statue's ear through his hat.

avatar Drivenslush

really should delete all the inner arm (on the right side) but then you'd have to shift sir studly guy over and place him in a position that makes it more like he's hugging the source .. LOL.. great job though.. detail is key.. all in IMHO

The place where the crow ripps the scarecrow's shirt should be "filled" with something. I can see the grains behind it. Good luck.

author says:

Actually I pasted over a portion of hay in that area, but to avoid further confusion I've drawn a little more of it. Hope it's better now. Thanks!

avatar Akassa
Akassa says:

The crow's edges should get a little more blurred, great composition.

author says:

It's done now! Better?

avatar SaEllisson

Heh, poor guy. Very amusing entry!

avatar MossyB
MossyB says:

The lighting on the crow (the top of his head is not illuminated) is not consistent with the lighting on the scarecrow, and the crow is casting no shadow onto the scarecrow at all...The Dodge Tool set to low (5-10%) for Midtones or highlights with a speckled brush should help with the lighting on top, and the Burn Tool set to highlights at about 10-12% with a large soft edged solid brush should help give you shadow on the scarecrow. Make sure to work on a duplicate layer, to preserve your original.

author says:

Well, I put a little more work on it. I hope there's been improvement. Thanks for your remarks!

avatar rsguetre
rsguetre says:

If anything, just make the crow's foot more visible because that adds a bit of 'evil' to the overall intent in the crow's expression. The scarecrow's expression (and of course the irony of it!) are priceless too. Excellent work.

author says:

Thank you! I don't know if I'm allowed to edit my picture while in voting period though.
