I like the owl more from a technical point of view than artistic; I mean I appreciate the quality of the work you did to manipulate the source image in such a way that it looks like it belongs, though I'm not convinced it needs to be there in the first place

This is great! Right on theme too!! Small suggestion that might really help...the shark has a stark lit underside, but the dolphin doesn't. Choose which is better to run with and make them both similar. This will help the believability. Good luck!
