Cyclone was distorted using twirl filter.
The background is made from the checkerboard pattern and twirled cyclone image.

Inconsistent shadows.
They are meant to be that way. I did it on purpose. It's a fantasy after all. Shadows are not always realistic or consistent in a fantasy art work. The shadows are all going down the hole like they are being sucked down into it. Some call it artistic licence or distortion of reality.

With that background, I'm waiting for him to start Yodeling LOL Though putting him in a Nun's Habit would create "The Sound of Music" feel hehehe
you changed the image , right author?? starting to think my mind is going.. it was a cute bear wearing a hat..love this one too .. agree with drivenslush it does have that "Sound of Music" feel. hard to chose which one I liked the best but this one is a lot more fun I think.

This is a fabulous looking image. I like the theme and the color scheme, the lighting is excellent and the blending work is superbly done. This is definitely a work of art and one of my favorites.

I tried also to enter a few weeks older post, but one of the source images(the main one) has disappeared...
I know. When I went looking for the links to one of my sources, using the number from the name of the file, it took me to another image. I had to search the subject and locate by eye.
