Thanks to telegram for the London City Hall and Digea Rain Brushes by Jelena Jovović for the added Rain :) Old Beater Guitar Supplied by Me in my SBS Photo ;) and inspired by the "Stevie" Ray Vaughan Song (While I put it together) " The Sky Is Crying" (5 years and 3015 days ago)

Nice image; just one thing: how about adding the reflection and a slight shadow for the creature on the stairs?

avatar CMYK46
CMYK46 says:

Original image except for the rain, which has been really overdone lately.

avatar erikuri
erikuri says:

It's better! But it still needs the reflection - if you take a second look, even the city hall has its reflection on the stairs.

Nice surreal image love the water cascading from the picture frame to the chair have a couple of suggestion for improvements, with the amount of light coming threw the window The tires at the end of the pier need to have stronger highlights and the edges of the pier its self could do with being a little softer, the cracks in the water are not really adding anything to the image and may possible look better with out them….

avatar elficho
elficho says:

pretty good work.. minus the originality. i saw a tutorial with water dripping from a painting onto a couch. but interesting nonetheless

no avatar
Widiar says:

I would also lose the cracks. A bit sloppy work with the masking, especially with the inner part of your mirror/painting frame, should fix that. I would also lose that part of ground/root on the right side of the couch, looks weird. Also the water level below the pier is a bit higher than on the rest of the image. Maybe also add some contrast to the ocean image on the painting (and even straighten the horizon with the frame.. dunno about that thou).

Good colours and composition, just a little bit hasty work.

love it

On popular demand I've added an extra (4th) optical illusion: the floor. (5 years and 3233 days ago)

Very creative. I wish the floor-tile pattern were also an optical illusion. I also think the walkway illusion would be even more effective if the walkway's beginning and end looked like they were tied into the pool's rim, not sitting on top of the rim.

avatar HeinrichB

Nice one! Good luck

avatar CMYK46
CMYK46 says:

The far wall of the pool would be more the color of the rim. Otherwise, this works just fine for me!

author says:

Thanks Dan I've intergrated the walkway with the rim.
Thanks CMYK, adjusted that too.
Strange the longer you work on something the more details you miss
