Working with tablet improves a lot the quality of your graphics..smooth images, nice contours, a great power of changing your design the way you like. The character...is an alienish genius...with lots of crazy idea :P
Worked with blurry brushes, with smudge and sharpen tool. The halo around the character is made using the inner shadow option, from the blending option menu.

I like this, it's creative, especially what you did to her face. Except for the obvious repetition on the upper right side wtih the bubble brushes, the skin treatment and use of your tablet is very cool.
This is an interesting manipulation, I like the glint in the eye, The drama is there...like the flow of the layout except for the ACTUAL source usage... you have this great spacial relationship and movement with your sources and then it kind of fizzles out and dead ends with the lightbulbs not being laid out well compared to the rest of the image. Almost like an afterthought. Oh and the right side of the nose, if you gave it just the smallest amount of contour, it would give more definition.

While on a school trip to Peru, the hotel caught on fire... thinking quickly on his feet he grabbed a kiddie elephant blow up pool and a oar that was just laying around and escaped.
(Source image used, a flickr photo as credited was used, and my own pictures of my kid, yes in a blow up pool used) (5 years and 3510 days ago)

I like the burnt building and fire very much...the foreground subject doesn't belong...it's too bright and clean. This image would be SO MUCH better without it...no offense to your son...in my opinion.

I agree it doesnt belong, (neither does a teenager rowing a elephant down a lake in real life), but its just a fanatsy picutre... I would like to think they have real boats to escape with in real life, hehe
