How did you do the veins? Btw, in hi res it's noticeable that you forgot to mask the veins over the dress.

While I think it's very creative to ask what the difference is between vampirism and a long night of partying, I feel this seems more like the latter when the contest is about the former. I'm getting a 'wasted' more than a 'vampire' vibe I'm afraid. Perhaps a hint of fang or glowing eyes (maybe coupled with a more disturbing title) would help push it over the edge.

It's another portrait with fangs and different eyes. It doesn't really take on the vampire appeal with so few details change, IMO.

Bad masking on tree, bad perspective...branches wouldn't be behind the church.

thanks for the comment sir... perhaps i will go back and remask the tree, but i spent about 3 hours on just the tree already, there was a lot to get rid of as you can see from the source... also i have the branches going behind the church on purpose, kind of surreal that way.

agrees. You could have used a pre masked tree from deviant art or download mask pro

you could use the lightning effects to make the thunder more real

How would you learn ? Don't waste your time masking tree's. Like I said, get a pre masked tree or don't use a tree. You worked hard at this, I can tell, But if you spent your tree masking time on effects or some kinda surprise it would pay off better. Not being a smartass, honestly, I bet this comes last or second last.

Great entry! the ghostly effect is very convinving, and the abbey in the background sets the mood perfectly. My one suggestion would be to tone down the highlights just a tad and that's it. Great job and good luck!!

wish the face more sharp, but good job there...

The model itself was really dark and a bit pixelated, was kinda hard to get her skin this soft and light, i had to use some blur on the face. I agree it should be more sharp but oh well :P
