3 tools used to create this entry. This really is not as easy as some might think and gives one a lot of practice while trying to work without layers, etc. This was done from scratch with no reference materials. Just having fun with tools. (5 years and 3421 days ago)

Adjust the source image to make a brighter scene. Draw the rainbow.
Adding the canoe image taken from http://www.sxc.hu/photo/655795. Thanks to ngould for the pic.

Let's go canoeing, catching the rainbow, and sing .. Imagine you and me .. ah, what a beautiful memory ;)

Not bad. If you flip the canoe image, it will receive the same light source as the source image.(from the right upper corner). Good luck!

author says:

Thanks wazowski, you're right! I've flipped the canoe. Hope it looks better now

avatar Barnacle
Barnacle says:

Nice pic, but the boaters look huge and the reflection is kinda unrealistic. Good luck

avatar hereisanoop

nice

author says:

Thanks Barnacle! I tried to resize the boater and worked some more on the reflection. Hope it looks more realistic now

avatar bddesign
bddesign says:

agreed with barnacle.. also, slightly feather the images, and add a blur, or more blur filter to the boaters so that the resolution matches with the rest of the image. a crispy high res on a dull low res, or not as crisp image stands out and doesnt blend well... it makes it looks as if you just placed them, and thats exactly what you did. fix that and i think it would be much improved (at least in the high-resolution version)

avatar pixelkid
pixelkid says:

I like this, but I feel it would be better if the rainbow went behind the dune and wasn't as prominent on the left side near the ground. Good job.

EDIT: Never mind what I said...it makes sense...duh!!! Good job author!

author says:

Thanks pixelkid! I've tried to follow your suggestion. Also did a little bit correction on the boater. I guess this is the best I can :P

EDIT :
Pixelkid: Hehe.. I'd rather have the rainbow touching the water, because the idea is that the couple is canoeing to try to "catch the rainbow".Thanks for your encouraging comment!
