Decided to go with some sort of HR Giger type of Beings Thanks CG Textures. Made the background via the pattern tool and the Birth Machine pic via http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Birth_machine.jpg (5 years and 3535 days ago)

Nice looking image, but I'm confused...it looks like you made the faces yourself, they're too detailed to have been lifted from the Giger piece. If so, what are the sources for the face parts? Would be great to see the SBS for this...

wonderful effect.. but these are the sweetest Giger pieces I've ever scene (SUPER WELL DONE) great tribute and good luck!!!!! (You can stare at a Giger Piece for days and never see everything)

Shadow people (also known as shadow men or shadow beings) are a supernatural phenomenon reported by some individuals. Most accounts of shadow people describe them as black humanoid silhouettes, lacking mouths or eyes, although they are sometimes reported to have red or yellow eyes. They are generally described as lacking mass, although their specific nature varies from two-dimensional (like a shadow) to vaporous or distorted. Their movement is often reported as being very quick and disjointed, or "jiggly", in the sense that they first may move slowly like a fluid (similar to jello rather than water), then rapidly "hop" to another part of a witness' surroundings (5 years and 3563 days ago)

it is a good image, however the background choice is alreade manipulated by original author so can not be used here... goodluck anyway.

EDIT: You could always ask the artist on DeviantArt if they still have the original photograph and then manipulate it yourself???

unfortunately still previously manipulated backgrounds we cant use photos that have been touched up like that i know its frustrating cause ive had images removed for it as well.... goodluck mate.

my advice is since ur in the hole with the background. go 1 step further. find 2 backgrounds and merge them together and make them dark just like this one. its not hard. and maybe throw in a few more of ur shadow ppl in the background flyin around or small off in the background. maybe even a small tiny one, with a tiny drawi of a horse and carriage being attacked just for LOLs.

I like the effort, I used to listen to art bell all the time, and the description of these guys creeped me out to no end, it was a reoccurring topic over and over. The figure is good for a reaper, but sadly I have a preconceived notion of these things and, it's more of something you would see out of the corner of your eye and not reaper like at all. Like "Did I just see what I thought I saw?" It would always be human shaped, dark, but just a little bit "wrong"

I love mood pieces, but the background is a little to "generic" creepy to BE creepy. The typical moon, w/ spooky tree has it's place, but I think you can do better. In no way would I say this is bad, I like it a lot, I just sort of want to to be more than it is right now.

Nice composition and good result, but as already said above replace your background (which is pre-manipulated) with another one, else it will removed by MOD.
