I like this a lot, very nice! Just see a problem with the blending of the colors.

Secret tip: there's a filter called 'Color FX pro' by Nik software (owned by Google). It's free and comes with other good filters. Just Google 'Nik software'.
If you'd take the final image and run it through Color FX pro you can bring the colors more together and make it more 1 image.
You might want to give t a try

Yea I probably could have done that. I wasn't sure if we could use 3rd party filters in these contests though. I did get it squared away with SpaceRanger but by that time it was kinda late into the contest. I did download them and checked them out. I may use them at a later date. Thanks you for the suggestion rob.

you changed the image , right author?? starting to think my mind is going.. it was a cute bear wearing a hat..love this one too .. agree with drivenslush it does have that "Sound of Music" feel. hard to chose which one I liked the best but this one is a lot more fun I think.

Why are the bubbles above the waterline? And the light source on the bubbles is from below, unlike the rest of the image. I do like the way you resolved the conflicting shadows when you mirrored the image.

Thanks for looking in such detail! I was trying to go for more of a surreal effect with the bubbles. Although you are correct with the lighting of the bubbles. Unfortunately the bubble brush I used has the light source on the bottom. Not sure how to fix it other than using a different brush. Thanks for your time.

About the bubbles, you could change the direction of the brush in the brush presets... then the highlights would be the same as the rest of the image.
