This is unusual, pineapple tropical fish.
This image was created using the contest's image (pineapple). To create this image I've trimmed the body of the pineapple to create the fish's body and leaves to create the flippers. Bowl was drawn using elipse marque tool and effect inner glow and inner shaddow.

My first entry here is my son turned into a pineapple.

Techniques used....

Rotated angle of head since original was tilted to the side.

Changed hue/saturation as well as color balance to blend the face into the pineapple.

Multiple copies of the face were used including the eyes and mouth to bring out the color.

Different opacity erasers were used on the different layers to blend the face into the pineapple.

Burn was used to bring out the shadows of the eyes, nose, and mouth as well as the eyebrows.
