one of my old entries!

I selected the tree from an image offered by "pkv" on Deviantart.
I added the sky and clouds.
I selected the roof of an actual birds house and all the pairs of shoes in the source image.
I added the shoes and the roofs onto the branches.
Added different birds in different positions. Added chains to connect the little bird houses to the tree.
Colored, added shadows, added light beams, some adjustment layers (gradient map and brightness and contrast).

I hope you're not going to find it too dark for your taste as I kind of like it this way...bit extreme in colors...I guess this is my first time when I'm being so daring with the tones....hope it's just a phaze...!

This was an old entry I had done, I have made some changes that I wasn't able to complete at the time when the older contest ended.

*Fixed the grass some of it looked duplicated around the edges

*I couldn't fix the red hue where the sun was shinning on the tree, it's not red it's just sunlight, :( I did try but it just didn't work well.

*those were all the sbs steps I had saved I couldn't find the others. There should of been one where it showed the part where I added the back and the blending of the pillars.

*I changed it a bit brighter seemed a bit dark

*I also added another part of the building to go behind it sorta to give the image more depth

8/18/09 sorry haven't had time to make the changes I would have sooner

I changed it a bit darker to give an almost night effect up top and added stars and a falling star in the top right corner

I also hope that I fixed the depth in the bricks
