The lighting on the crow (the top of his head is not illuminated) is not consistent with the lighting on the scarecrow, and the crow is casting no shadow onto the scarecrow at all...The Dodge Tool set to low (5-10%) for Midtones or highlights with a speckled brush should help with the lighting on top, and the Burn Tool set to highlights at about 10-12% with a large soft edged solid brush should help give you shadow on the scarecrow. Make sure to work on a duplicate layer, to preserve your original. Reply »

If anything, just make the crow's foot more visible because that adds a bit of 'evil' to the overall intent in the crow's expression. The scarecrow's expression (and of course the irony of it!) are priceless too. Excellent work. Reply »
