@CMYK...what this represents is that the soldiers who are fighting for our freedom ( or its upkeep, for that matter ) are themselves restrained ( which is depicted by the burial or the handcuffs ).

Even in this state of restraint, being buried and handcuffed ( figuratively ), they continue to hold up the flag. They continue to uphold our way of life. Reply »
