Author, I really love the look of this pic. It's a fantastic job! Now I'm going to nitpick a little: The horizontal spar (which is too thick) shouldn't be right on the horizon line...compositionally, it's awkward. Also, judging from the boat's axis from stern to bow, the mast should move to our right.

Looks great, well constructed and finished. Allow me one note: the shadow on the right looks odd. The overall effect is of a overcast day, so the shadow should be much less pronounced. Reply »

absolutely wonderful work. thank you for taking the time to make such a good sbs, this one's a keeper. the scratches and irregular edge give an extra sense of age to this, and those ropes are amazing.
