I guess the two shadows are copying the two abstract mushrooms which remind me of pine cones as they are, hence the cold background with snow Reply »

Going for symetry instead of realism. I get it. But if you're going to have two shadows, the assumption is two light sources. Which I guess is hard when you're trying to use shadows to give a drawing dimention. I like your use of a "nub" to make the flower. Reply »
