Author.. the add on of color in is a bit overly dramatic and pushes the image to the surreal, if this was your intent then kudo's, but I think the plain black and white is a nice finish by it's self.. excellent work in the SBS but I think the mouth work is a bit over done.. she's a little long in tooth if you get my drift.. still very good work here.. I would remove the text just because Your work is MUCH more important..and the text can be distracting when placed directly into the picture or on it..IMHO.. good luck on this
(Take my suggestion with a grain of Salt.. I'm amazed at the result (I love it) but I'm thinking mainly of the contest goal (Your work is SPECTACULAR)(I really want to pinch her nose..hehehe)

Golum thanks for the comments. I just liked the color. Seemed to make it a little less flat. Also, funny you would mention her teeth. She recently had them filed by the dentist! Ouch! Fixed the text. Reply »

Author, I get the point about symmetry, but shouldnt've you put a right-to-left as well to make a point?
