Not really coming out of dark ... You should play with the levels and find the right contrast to ensure the teapot is coming out of the dark.

but this is close up, not macro, is it not!
The teapot is only 2 inches high so the image on screen is actually bigger than reality.
Author, macro is a 1x or life-size 1:1 ratio based on the image size on the sensor not the finished example...given that reasoning the image is bigger than the actual object, a billboard sized print of an entire bus would be macro too???
