Raggedy Ann was a very popular doll introduced in 1915. Her brother, Raggedy Andy, was introduced in 1920. There are a lot of books with all their adventures. You can still buy them today, but these two dolls are very old, dating to the 1930's. (5 years and 748 days ago)

A beautifully rendered image. It is clear, easy to study, no background disturbs and photographic information is there to flush out the story. Your technical expertise is evident in contrast, dof, saturation. Good one.

A little worse for wear because they were well-loved. These are my grandmother's Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls from the 1920's. (5 years and 2351 days ago)

Wow....my favorite. I still have the Raggedy Ann I've had since I was one. She's 46 years old. My grandmother replaced her eye with a button and sewed back on her leg and arm. She's stained with cough syrup and a myriad of other things....but I loved her well. Wonderful collection and considering their age, wonderful condition. I have the whole collection of those books as well. Thanks for the memories!!!

They look extremely good, considering the age. Nice photo too.

Thanks. The books aren't that old. They're from the 70's, but the dolls were hers.

The books are still in a very good condition, weren't the children allowed to touch them?

author says:

When they were exposed to those books, they were small enough to crawl on our laps and have them read to them. They had some of their own books which definitely show the wear and tear of kids.

I would just have put a little bit more light to bring some contrast to your composition.

Cool - I had a Raggedy Anne & Andy as a kid. Don't know what ever happened to them.
