Don't usually. But was about to negotiate to buy a car, and I've found over the years that putting cash down on their desk goes a LONG way in giving them an incentive to accept a lower price. 
Nice way you treated this photo, looks like you are quite set for awhile. I love the clarity on the back bills and was looking closely at them wondering if they are real or fake money.
Oh, they're real. Probably be looking at a long prison sentence if I had fake money like that. 
Y'know, every time we travel out of Thailand we get American Bills. Countries we travel to, like China, Nepal, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Borneo will not accept old bills, they all have to be clean, with no writing and spanking new....what a pain.
That WOULD be a pain.
