At one point ,seeing that I had a longer lens, this kite surfer actually changed direction and steered himself with kite right out of the water and up the sand bank to me. Asked to sent photos to the nearby beach rental stand and then glided right back into the water. amazing. (5 years and 2711 days ago)

Thank you! I used 70-300mm for this and was actually standing on the pier. These guys aren't always smart when it comes to surfing far from the pier though it's good for photos, it's not good in the category of safety. lol
