I literally skidded to a stop when I saw two large birds fly crossing in front of me on the highway. I stopped and waited for 30 minutes for one of the now tiny dots perched on a tree to fly back. Armed with my old Canon XS and a crappy 75-300mm lens, this is what I finally caught. I still remember excitement of seeing and catching a shot of a bald eagle in the wild.
